LILY英语感中阶段答疑会会后指导

本 学期通过“课程专家咨询答疑”活动,我们了解到刚刚进入到感中的家长期待满满,可是似乎又缺乏针对性特别强的指导,所以开始疑虑和不安。为此LILY英语 制作了《感中3册学生学习疑问调查问卷》,将家长们普遍疑惑的问题进行了收集和汇总,并以此为依据,开展了“感中3册学生学习答疑会”,邀请资深的教学专 家为与会家长答疑解惑。

为了让更广大的感中家长也能受到专业性的指导,LILY英语决定在会后,对答疑会上的突出问题进行总结,以文字的形式传达给各位家长,让更多的孩子获取更好的学习指导,取得更好地学习效果。

下面请看我们的答疑总结:

一、感中学习目的

感中阶段旨在通过大量英语声信号与情景对应的积累,加大简单条件反射量,使孩子初步具备听力。

而所谓听力,是指并不需要其他图片、动作等的辅助,听到声音就能够直接反映出来其代表的情景含义。

要想掌握听力,孩子课上需要做的是:将老师传达的英语声音与教师展示的情景对应起来。

而回家之后孩子要听随堂录音,练习听英语音频,联想课堂场景并与之对应的能力。

所以我们要求孩子大量听随堂录音,一方面给孩子提供连续的环境;另一方面帮助孩子加大场景量的对应和积累。

二、家长的“辅导”对孩子学习的不良影响

我们不给孩子发放教材,也不让家长对孩子进行“辅导”。因为教材和“辅导”还是在让孩子通过“外力”来强制性记忆英语语音内容,还是在走“翻译”这条老路,并不是让孩子真正获取听力。

三、如何让孩子正确使用录音问题?

录音问题的设置是为了让孩子们能够带着问题,更有重点地去认真听随堂录音。

所以,我们可以先听一遍第一节课内容的录音问题,然后再去听第一节课的随堂录音。这样,孩子在听随堂录音的时候就会有重点了。完成后,开始回答

第一节课录音问题。先让孩子听问题,然后暂停,让孩子回答。只要孩子能回答即可。接着听下一个问题。第二节内容的听法同上。

四、对于三册而言,怎样才能算是孩子比较好地适应了感中阶段了?家长怎样来把握呢?

三册刚开始:能用中心词、或词组回答60%到70%的题;

学习两个月后:能用中心词、或词组回答100%的问题;

三册末的时候:能回答100%的问题,能用句子回答的占50%左右。

五、感中阶段为什么不让孩子复述或用精确的句子大量表达?

所谓“十聋九哑”,并不是因为聋人的声带出了问题,而是因为他们根本听不懂!所以在孩子还不具备听力能力的时候,是不具备完整表达能力的。我们家长要做的就是让孩子回家听随堂录音,形成条件反射,逐渐具备听力。听力水平好了,说话地道流利便是水到渠成的了。

有些家长希望让孩子练习复述老师讲的故事,感觉这就是表达能力,其实复述不是自由表达,只是一种模仿记忆的重复。LILY英语要求孩子的复述实际上是在要求孩子们来陈述故事的框架和脉络。但孩子小,没有总结能力。孩子们认为的复述就是要记住教师说的每一句话,然后重复出来。这就变成背诵了。若故事一长,孩子就模仿背不下来了。LILY英语不主张靠背诵去表达。因为背诵就是一种强化记忆,背得再多,也不会真正提高自由表达能力。提高表达能力必须靠听力理解力增强来实现。

六、孩子回家不爱听录音怎么办?

到了二册中和三册左右,孩子不像学一册的时候那样爱听随堂录音了。这是为什么呢?

孩子在学一册的时候,游戏比较多,图片故事及录像故事比较短(5—10分钟长度的故事),这个时间段刚好是孩子注意力可以跟得上的。所以,孩子回家能一边听录音,一边联想故事场景。

但到了二册中至三册的时候,游戏少了,许多图片故事的长度在15分钟—20分钟左右。没有养成听讲好习惯的孩子,课堂上会走神,会注意力不集中,这样在课堂上就丢失了场景,等回到家听随堂录音,就会联想不起场景,故事的情节是支离破碎的。所以,孩子说听不懂。这样,孩子越来越没有兴趣了。 所以在感中阶段,家长要与教师多沟通,了解孩子课上的表现,这个表现就要具体知道孩子在上课的时候注意力能集中的时间长度。之后,及时让孩子

听完随堂录音,并协助孩子完成录音作业的回答。无论孩子回答的好坏,都要鼓励。尽量不要批评孩子。如果觉得孩子录音问题回答不好,复习课后可以再回答一遍录音问题,你会发现孩子这次的回答会好很多。

七、孩子复习课上回答问题的机会少!不能提高口语表达能力。

这个阶段孩子还不具备听力,所以也不具备口语表达能力。那么复习课上孩子回答问题的目的有两个:

就是让孩子回家听随堂录音,形成条件反射。只有这样反复积累,孩子才会慢慢具备听力。所以感中阶段实质上就是英语声音条件反射量的积累到孩子具备英语听力的一个过程。

复习课通过提问让孩子回答问题可以检测一下孩子对上次课故事内容的理解程度。

所以当孩子不具备口语表达能力的时候,家长就不要攀比孩子的回答问题的次数。目前通过这种回答提高不了表达能力,只有听力形成后,以及听力水平越来越好,口语表达才会得以进展。希望家长能够理解基本原理。

最后,LILY英语会要求班主任教师与家长进行关于学生学习指导的密切沟通,也感谢此次感中阶段家长的热情参与。我们会把此项工作做得越来越好,帮助孩子们顺利完成感初阶段学习向感中阶段学习的跨越,让孩子们的学习效果得到提升。

The Significance of Finance in the Marriage According to Different Characters in

Pride and Prejudice

‘It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.’ (Chapter 1, p.2) Mrs. Bennet here actually expresses her attitude towards the marriage: A very important criterion for a girl to look for a husband depends on his wealth. That can be called a happy and decent marriage in her eyes. However, what about other young people? Is Mrs. Bennet right? Is finance really a critical factor that can influence their marriages?{lily英语作业}.

Mrs. Bennet’s youngest daughter, Lydia has a tragic marriage. She likes handsome officers in red coats, meeting them quite often. She is shallow and frivolous, only crazy about joining parties and flirting with them:

‘Her character will be fixed, and she will be fixed, and she will, at sixteen,

be the most determined flirt that ever made herself and her family

ridiculous. A flirt, too, in the worst and meanest degree of flirtation; and

from the ignorance and emptiness of her mind, wholly unable to ward off

any portion of that universal contempt which her rage for admiration will

excite.’ (Vol.2, Chapter 18, p.247)

From the remarks of Elizabeth, we can know that Lydia is too shallow and indulgent. Finally, Lydia’s dream comes true, because she marries Wickham, a handsome but dishonest officer. He owns many debts and had nothing for their marriage. A letter from Elizabeth’s uncle writes that ‘He has given in all his debts; I hope at least he has not deceived us.’ (Vol.3, Chapter 8, p.327) However, Lydia loves him so much and doesn’t even care about it. She writes in her letter to Harriet: ‘I shall think you a simpleton, for there is but one man in the world I love, and he is an angel. I should never be happy without him.’ (Vol.3, Chapter 5, p.305) And she has paid the price for it. Without enough money, just because of temporary lust, they always run out of their money quickly and have to rely on their sisters. Elizabeth helps them, ‘as it was in her power to afford… she frequently sent them.’ (Vol.3, Chapter19, p.406) Just because Lydia doesn’t attach importance to the finance in the marriage and she only fancies the appearance and entertainments, it makes her life poor and bitter.

Comparing to Lydia, the best friend of Elizabeth, Charlotte lives a more comfortable marriage life. She just wants a stable and wealthy life:

‘She had gained her point, and had time to consider of it. Her reflections

were in general satisfactory. Mr. Collins to be sure was neither sensible nor

agreeable; his society was irksome, and his attachment to her must be

imaginary. But still he would be her husband – without thinking highly

either of men or of matrimony, marriage had always been her object…’

(Vol.2, Chapter 5, p.171)

She knows that money is really important in marriage, so she accepts Mr. Collins’ proposal very quickly. Although Charlotte doesn’t love him that much, she still has a satisfied family life. We can see it from the visit of Elizabeth:

‘and she could not help fancying that in displaying the good proportion of

the room, its aspect and its furniture… and rather looked with wonder at

her friend that she could have so cheerful an air…’(Vol.1, Chapter 22,

p.135)

In general, this is a satisfying marriage for her after all. From the contrast of Charlotte and Lydia, we can see that finance influences a lot on the marriage. Looking through the novel, we can also find that Elizabeth and Jane also have very happy marriages. So for them, is finance also an important factor which influences their marriages?

Elizabeth is decisive and smart. She doesn’t like Mr. Darcy at first, because she thinks he is extremely arrogant. Therefore, when Mr. Darcy proposes to her for the first time, she refuses him and scolds him fiercely for his arrogance, coldness and merciless:

‘I have every reason in the world to think ill of you. No motive can excuse

the unjust and ungenerous part you acted there… and involving them both

in misery of the acutest kind.’ (Vol.2, Chapter 11, p.206)

She can’t marry a man without love and respect, which is also the remark from her father. (Vol.3, Chapter 17, p.395) It shows that Elizabeth focuses on love more

than finance in the marriage. However, after all the clouds of misunderstanding are cleared up, she realizes that Darcy is a very kind and noble man. Finally she agrees to marry him. They live a happy life later.

Similar to Elizabeth, Jane also thinks that love is the most important factor in the marriage. Without knowing the truth before, when she knows that Elizabeth is going to marry Mr. Darcy, she repeatedly exhorts Elizabeth that ‘And do you really love him quite well enough? Oh, Lizzy! Do anything rather than marry without affection.’ (Vol.3, Chapter 17, p. 392) Here she shows her attitude towards marriage that love is the most important. She loves Mr. Bingley very much and so does he. After so many difficulties, they get together and live a happy life.

The marriages of Jane and Elizabeth are on the basis of true love and mutual understanding. It seems that the happiness has little to do with finance. However, it cannot be difficult to find that they all marry wealthy husbands and get a lot of benefits from them. Darcy pays the debts for Wickham and uses a large amount of money to save Lydia and her family’s reputation. (Vol.3, Chapter 10, p.336) If Mr. Darcy isn’t rich, he can’t do it for Elizabeth. Therefore, it cannot deny that finance is a really significant factor in the marriage.

According to the different attitude towards the marriage and the lives of four couples in Jane Austen’s novel, it is true that marriage needs true love. However, it is finance that depends whether the marriage is happy or not. Therefore, we can see finance is really a critical factor that can influence the marriage.

助教工作内容

1.工作时间:7:30-17:30。

2.7:30签到看护好已到校学生,统计本班学生到校情况,下第一节课报告给前台, 有特殊情况作好记录。本班到校人数超过两人,给学生放课件动画片。8:00开空调,8:35提醒学生去卫生间,课前保证已到校学生在教室里,让学生安静下来,鼓励他们认真听课,做好上课准备。

3.上课期间坐在教室后面,观察学生的上课情况,并在《每日学生行为记录表》上记录, 协助老师上好每节课。记录内容包括:听课是否认真,回答问题是否积极,是否有说中文的情况。 4.上午的课程安排:

第一节课:8:40——9:25 第二节课:9:35——10:20 第三节课:10:30——11:15

5.第三节课助教到009教室打饭,把每个孩子的饭分到饭盒里,助教吃饭。11:20学生洗手,助教分发饭盒和餐具,学生吃完饭后,分发绿豆汤。午饭完毕,清理教室,擦桌子,把本班的垃圾桶送到楼下指定地点。

6.11:50-12:50,学生午休,助教看护好学生的休息。午休完毕,提醒学生去卫生间,如有学生太困,可以让他到洗手间洗脸。可组织学生活动一下,保持清醒状态,准备下午的课程。

9.16:00家长接孩子。放学时要求学生做好,禁止学生往外跑,助教把每个学生看护好,把每个学生直接交到家长手中并记录好,接走一个记录一个,没有家长来接,禁止学生擅自离开教室。如有年龄较大的学生自己回家,要求家长写证明,并将证明交到学校,并记录在学生考勤记录表上。如家长询问学生的上课情况,可按实际情况回答,如询问与教学相关的情况,交予办主任回答,以免造成家长的误解,对学校长生不良影响。

10.17:00将班里未接走的孩子送到值班教室,做好本班当日总结,将总结和《每日学生行为记录表》送到办公室。打扫教室,卫生经检查合格后方可离开岗位。

助教管理规定及注意事项

1.严格遵守学校的考勤制度,按时上下班,不迟到不早退。

禁止在教学区说中文,大声喧哗。上课时间禁止打手机,睡觉,随意出入。保持教室清洁,不乱扔乱放东西。

2.下班后将本班门窗关好,电源关掉,确保安全。

3.禁止孩子上课吃东西,玩东西,发现以上情况要制止。禁止学生站桌椅,爬窗户。在楼道里跑,保证学生安全。

4.禁止学生待一切与中文有关的东西,包括书籍,作业,游戏机等。杜绝说中文的现象,发现说中文的学生要及时制止并记录。

5.如有学生身体不适,将其带到办公室处理。如能坚持上课,应给与特别关注。如不能坚持,通知办公室负责人联系其家长。完成家长特别交代的事情,如按时服药。

6.如有特殊情况,按实际情况处理。如自己处理不了,可与班主任协商解决。如情况严重,交予本部负责人处理。

助教工作技巧

1.集训第一天统计本班是否有回民,并在开会时报给本部负责人。

2.尽快记住本班学生的英文名字,第一天可以按座位记录好学生的英文名字。熟悉每个学生的性格特征,以便采取不同的方式管理学生。开始几天分饭时观察不同孩子的饭量,以便以后按照孩子的饭量给孩子打饭。

3.开始几天要规范好本班的纪律,对破坏纪律的学生要严厉批评,严重者交给本部负责人处理。保证午休时间的休息质量,特别注意前三天,培养学生午睡的良好习惯。禁止学生在午睡期间影响其他学生休息。

4.给学生的评分应有区分度,尽量使每个学生的分数有所差别。集训开始几天的起评分可略低,然后逐渐增加,是学生有成就感。
