Have you ever heard the saying 'your attitude determines your altitude'? It's a phrase that originated from flying. The attitude or orientation of the plane relative to the ground literally determines how high the plane can fly. In the same way, successful people past and present have discovered that the attitude determines how high we can fly.
Almost always, you have a choice as to what attitude to adopt. There is nothing in any normal work situation that dictates you must react one way or another. If you feel angry about something that happens, for instance, that's how you choose to feel. Nothing in the event itself makes it absolutely necessary for you to feel that way. It is your choice. And since you do have a choice, most of the time you'll be better off if you choose to react in a positive rather than a negative way.

Life is like a process of climbing mountains. On the way to the summit, we will meet different obstacles and dangers which depress us and cause great pain. At this time, many people feel desperate and finally retreat, for they see the way ahead full of thorns and totally dark. But there are some people regarding the difficulties as the beautiful sceneries on their way to success. They are always optimistic and finally reach the summit. Different attitudes lead to different altitudes of life.
The pessimistic people always see the negative parts of the life. They are
inclined to exaggerate the pains they are suffering. I have read a story of a pessimistic man. One day, he presses every inch of his skin with his finger and feels painful wherever he presses. So he thinks that he must get a deadly disease and feels desperate. He goes to the hospital and gets himself checked. Finally the doctor tells him that there is nothing wrong with him but just a small cut on his finger.
You may think the story ridiculous. How can this man regard that little pain as a deadly disease? In fact, in our daily life, there are many people like the man in the story but they just don’t realize it. When they come cross a small setback, they begin to complain the unfairness of the destiny. They exaggerate the pain they are suffering, as if that is the end of the world. They see the whole thing in a pessimistic way and are stuck in the long-lasting desperation.
But if we see the setbacks from another angle, things will be different. Sorrows and pains in our life are just flashes in the pan. They are set on our path to make us stronger. Only if we go through seas of difficulties and pains can we smile to the life no matter how bad the situation is.
We all know the famous writer Shen Congwen. In his whole life, he experienced many difficulties. He was born in a remote village and lived a very poor life most of the time. Especially in the Cultural Revolution, he suffered persecution and lived a bitter life. All of his works were destroyed and he was asked to clean the lavatory. Both his body and spirit suffered a lot. Some of the writers living in the time of Cultural Revolution chose to end their lives such as Lao She. But he didn’t. He
never gave up the hope for life. Nor did he complain about it. Instead, he kept an optimistic attitude. In a letter to his nephew, he told him that the lotuses in his place were blooming beautifully. After the Cultural Revolution, when he was asked about his painful experience, he talked about with smiles on his face all the time as if it hadn’t ever happened to him. He said that the thing that supported him in the dark days was hope and he believed one day the sorrows would be gone and bright tomorrow would soon arrive. It is his optimistic attitude that helps him go through all the difficulties and smile to the life. So, finally life smiles to him. He succeeds and his works are acknowledged and loved by millions of readers. He reaches the high altitude of his life.
Life is a process of climbing mountains. Attitude determines the altitude of life. If we are always pessimistic, we will easily be stuck on the road and never reach top and see the beauty of life. Only with optimistic attitude, can we make a way out of no way, go through all the difficulties and reach the summit of our life. There, life is smiling to us.

Most importantly, in college, it is unavoidable to meet some opposite sex people. Therefore, it is normal to fall in love with someone because of favorable impression. More to the point, you shouldn't be too nervous or upset to find your marriage partner if you are still single. Instead, you should find your lover patiently and believe in predestined love.
Finally, if you want to find a person in good manner and satisfy all you need, you should enhance yourself first, including have a good job as well as a stable living condition and so on, because only if you become more outstanding ,can you have more choices in your life.
