：假期
a、对于英国人或者澳大利亚人来说，“假日”的意思等同于“假期”（尽管他们很少用“假期”）{wintervacation是什么意思}.

MY WINTER VACATION
During the winter vacation, I did a lot of meaningful things.
I wake up 8 o’clock every day, learning spoken English for 2 hours. I want to improve my own English speaking abilities to get ready for the significant thing that I will follow uncle to teach several students from Belgium the knowledge of my motherland. By the way, I can get lots of new things that I can’t think.
Although I never fall in love with computer games, a great game named Assassin’s Creed 3 deeply attract me. It contains great man, vivid languages, history and so on. Actually, I become the fan of Assassin’s Creed 3.
Certainly, as a sunshine boy, I still love playing basketball. It always let me excited, comparing with scoring by myself, I would like to share the right of the ball with each team players now. I really understand group spirit.
Singing in the KTV is a part of my winter holiday life. When I heard friends said“Oh, my god! Your voice is so charming” , I felt proud.
Sometimes, I also see a movie to cinema. There were a few good movies during my winter vacation such as 007, it was a classic movie. This is my winter vacation life, how do you like it?

My winter vacation
一、Alma-mater [ælmə'meɪtər] 母校
The first thing I came back home is return visit to my old school and my teacher
Our school just has a little change so that the building 、 trees and the playground I still remember and it seems like we were senior high school student .
“FO GANG senior high school”which is my Alma-mater`s name , like its name my school is normal .
But I have many happy memories in there and Ihave many friends ,I share my happiness and my sadness with them . what`s more I have 6 teachers who treat us as our parents .
We beat the college entrance exam, and we are always be together.{wintervacation是什么意思}.
三、look for delicious food
In the school I miss my mother`s cooking , so as soon as I came back I had a wonderful lunch .during the whole vacation whenever I taste my mother`s cooking I would say “yummy”by myself .
Because of the spring festival I re-taste the good food cook by my grandma such as preserved meat and sausage .
And of cause I will never forget the rice noodles produce in my hometown Shaoyang ,every morning I having it as my breakfast .
四、reunion
I return to my hometown our family reunion together and having family reunion dinner . I go shopping with my family I have a really happy time .
五、travel{wintervacation是什么意思}.
I company with my father to go to Changsha ,I find my friend and she guide me to the scenic spots such as the university Hu Nan and the mountain call YUE LU .
When I go back to chenzhou I visit the WANGXIANLIN

My winter vacation
¡¡¡¡During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o'clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o'clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.
¡¡¡¡But I haven't bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed£¬because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

The Spring Festival is the most important and the most grand festival for all of us of the traditional Chinese holiday. The origin of Spring Festival is itself centuries old and gain significance because of several myths and tradition. traditionally begins on the first day of the first month in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th. At this time, We always appreciate the excitement and happy.
Within China, regional customs and traditional concerning the
celebration of the Spring Festival vary widely. In general, we pour out our money to buy present, decoration, material, food, clothing. It is also the tradition that every family thoroughly cleans the house to sweep away any ill-fortune in hopes to make way for good luck. In addition, windows and gate will be ornamented with red colour
paper-cuts and couplets with popular themes of "happiness ", "wealth ", and "longevity ". On the Eve of Spring Festival, as a matter of fact, In my family, supper is a feast with families, including such items as pigs, ducks, chicken and sweet delicacies. The family would end the night with firecrackers. Early the next morning, as a child, I greet my parents and other relatives by wishing them a healthy and happy new year, and I also receive money in red paper envelopes. Families
walking the street and caring lighted a lantern when Lantern Festival is coming, this day frequently marks the end of Spring festival. The Spring Festival is also a great way to conciliate the people's disputes, and sincerely wish peace and happiness for everyone.
