【游记】 I spend most of the time at home during this summer vacation. When I was at home, I do homework by myself, and help my parents with the housework. But the most memorable time in this summer is when I travel in Yellow River Forest Park.
I went to visit the Yellow River Forest Park in July together with three of my classmates. It was very boring when staying in the bus for a long timewhich made me doze off all the time and at some time. I nearly struck my head on the chair in the front of me. After three hours' journey by bus we finally got to the park. But to my disappointthere was nothing interesting here which were quiet normal things. Compared with the my school I stayed in here was very noisy and messy.
Though the park is beside the Yellow River the air is still a little smelly because there are a lot of animals such as horses cocks and so on here which make lots of wastes every day while few people clean them. In a word the park is not so good as I had expected and I felt unsatisfied about it.
I love traveling. Traveling not only broadens my horizons but also opens my eyes to the world. What's more, it refreshes me. You can go to Disneyland and experience what it's like to be “a child again!” You can visit one of the “seven wonders of the world,” such as the Grand Canyon and feel the magnificence of nature! Tour is not only a personal interest but also a kind of knowledge. A merry journey will be the memory that you can’t forget through your lifetime. It’s really at ease if you wander with two or three china pates who have a little exploratory energy to stay in the interesting places as long as you want but just ignore the unsightly places.
It’s not good to join the travel agency other wise we should call it gaining a superficial understanding through cursory observation but not traveling. Of course, we should study to choose a most towardly occasion for the most famous and beautiful scene in the places before we are going to.
And we need enough money, enough time, special channel and also an economical plane, it’s convenient for us. And we can save more time to view the blue sky generally and look out upon the cloud dancing freely outside the plane.
It’s also not bad to travel by train. Enjoy the scenery out of the train on the way, just look around here and there, maybe you can get some new friends in this narrow but long carriage. Certainly you’d better choose the different path when you return back from the place of interest so that you can make your eyes full of the landscape of interest on the way and never need to revisit the once familiar place. How far-flung and garland the rivers and mountains in our homeland are! There are still too many places we can go.
Time is limited but the interest of traveling is limitless. We travel just because of our love knot to the natural mountains and rivers!

My Dream
Everyone has a lot of dreams. Some people want to be rich, dreaming of becoming millionaires overnight. Others want to be famous, dreaming of suddenly jumping to great fame. An unforgettable experience
My mom used to say that I was born to swim. But the truth is that I didn’t know how to swim until the last year of my primary school!
Mom always said that I could swim in the basin when I was only two months old. I was surprised at the amazing fact. If this was true, then why was I afraid of water? I went to swim every summer, but I didn’t make a little progress. I was worried and blamed myself several times. When I watched people swimming freely, how I wished I had learnt to swim!
The story of how I learnt to swim is dramatic. One hot summer afternoon, my father and I went to the swimming pool to swim. While my father was changing his clothes, I was roaming along the bank of the pool. Suddenly I heard a voice, “Look out!” and then came a big noise and beautiful splashes. Just when I was admiring the swimmer’s skills, I slipped into the pool! I was so afraid that I shouted at once! But the water kept coming towards me and I drank a lot of it. I was moving upside down and trying to reach the bank. I was struggling very hard to keep my head above the water.
A minute was like a hundred years to me. To my surprise, I was able to keep the style! Just then, my father, saw me and he seemed to be shocked. He then said, “Calm down, just wave your arms and legs like this. Right!” And I got it! I finally learnt to swim! You can’t imagine how happy I was and I wanted to jump for joy!
From this unforgettable experience I learnt that one’s power is unlimited. Sometimes you could show that power in an emergency. If you believe that, you will discover the power lying within yourself and achieve your goals. And one has to stay calm when it’s dangerous. To calm down helps you to think clearly and make the best decision for you. That’s what I have learnt from the experience.

My colorful school life
My School Life
Everyday we go to our beautiful school in spite of rain or shine. We’ll spend a whole day in school.
In the morning, we come to school. Most of us get up earlier to avoid our names to be listed. But of course, there are few students who have no time concept and are always late.
With the ring for break throughout the schoolyard, we all become as lively as monkeys! Some of us run or jump in the playground, some skip ropes, play badminton, kick shuttlecock, read some books and the others sit around and chat with each other cheerfully . Recently, we’ll have a sports meeting in our school. So some of the students are very excited about that and they practice a lot.
Once the bell for class rings, we clean up our dresses, wipe off sweat, go back to the classroom and wait for the teacher。In class, we pay much attention to the teacher and take notes. If we have problems and cannot find the correct answers, we will rise up our hands and ask the teacher. When the teacher asks us some questions about the lesson, we will think about them carefully and try to answer the questions actively. Sometimes we don’t know the answers， we would listen to what the teacher explains carefully. Anyway we cannot waste a bit of time in class , otherwise we will not learn anything or pass the exam.
At noon, some of us go home for lunch. And the others have lunch at school. The school lunch is not delicious enough. But the advantage is that we have many more choices and we can choose what we want by ourselves. There’re many kinds of food, such as beef noodles, hot dogs, fish, chicken, vegetables and so on. After lunch, my good friend and I often chat with each other and take a walk in the campus. After that, we have a noon break. At this time, we should keep quiet and study by ourselves or have a rest. Boys often feel tired and have a rest because they play basketball before. But we girls usually go over the lessons.
When a school day finishes, we may go home. But some of us on duty must do some cleaning in the classroom, and others would like to play basketball and do some after-school activities before we go home and do our homework.
In a word, although days in school are the same, but we not only learn book knowledge, but also exercise our other abilities. So I think our school life is rich and colorful. How I love my school life!
How to study English well
There are four key points to study English: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Firstly, we should be brave to talk with others in English. By doing this, we can improve ore talking and listening skill.
Secondly, we should try to listen to all kinds of English programmers as much as possible. In this way, we can gradually improve our pronunciation.
Thirdly, we should often read English books. When we come across a new word. We should guess its meaning through the contest first. then look it up in the dictionary to have a check. I thin,, it is a good way of reading.
Fourthly, we should practice our writing skills. Whenever we have any idea, we should get the pen and write it down at once. It is very important to avoid writing in Chinese way and using the Chinese grammar.
