Spring Festival

In china,people regard Spring Festival as the most important thing.People studied and worked throughout the year.No matter how far and how busy, they must do their best to go back home.That's a tradition and now becoming a habit. During this time,transport is extremely busy.Although the way is difficult,it can't reduce the urgent feeling of going home.I can't describe this feeling,only the people that experienced it can understand.Actually,on one hand,people miss their family,and they need to get comfort in the family.On the other hand,getting together is a symbol of blessedness and auspiciousness.People in other country don't have this consciousness that going home is necessary.For example,American could celebrate the Christmas in everywhere they like or with anybody.This diversity is occasioned by different culture between two countries.
On Spring festival's eve,the whole family prepare the dinner.Of course,dumplings is essential.In the
evening,family members always sit at the television and watch Spring Festival Gala.At 0:00,people set off firecrackers and fireworks,at the same time,children pay New Year,s call to old people.The old people give money to the children as a lunar new year gift.Usually,people stay up late or all night.
On lunar New Year's Day, the Chinese family eat vegetarian dumplings which imply they will plain and neat in this year. People change their new clothes,this stands for a new beginning.Next,people visit relatives with some gifts.The second day is son-in-law's festival,the husband and married women visit their side of the family. In a word,Chinese attach great importance to Spring Festival.

2. My View on Television
Television has been in our life for many years. We can‟t live happily without television. It can give us the latest information and news. It can open up our eyes and enlarge our knowledge. We can get happiness from the plays on television. We‟ll be bored all day if there is no television. Television programs are attractive. After a whole day‟s hard work, we can sit before the television and drink a cup of tea. How wonderful it is!
Television is also bad for people‟s health. It‟s bad for you to watch TV for too long, especially bad for your eyes. It is true that watching TV can influence our
behavior and achievement. However, it depends on what we do.
3. Talk about Internet
Today , I‟ll talk about going online. We know that there are too many net-bars (网吧) around us. The Internet can make our lives interesting and enjoyable. Many of us like going online very much because we can learn how to use the computer and get more information from the Internet. We can learn English. We can read some good newspapers and magazines. It can make us clever through playing computer games. I can send e-mails to our friends quickly. We can chat online with our friends. It can help us get in touch with (取得联系) people from all over the world, but
unfortunately the government doesn‟t allow communication with many people.
But some students spend too much time playing computer games and some stay in net bars all day and all night. As a result, they do worse and worse in their lessons and they don‟t study well any more. I think we shouldn‟t go online when it is time for us to study. We can do it in summer or winter holidays.

1.关于环保
How to stay healthy
Would you like to keep healthy like the others do? Now let me tell you something about staying healthy.
1. Food. To keep yourself healthy, you shouldn't eat something that have too much oil, calory or salt. For that can cause a lot of diseases. The right way to keep healthy is to eat more vegetables and fruits.
2. Exercise. Another way which is always be ignored is to excercise more. An average of steps a normal adult have per day is 10000 - 15000. You'll find yourself more healthy after changing the steps to 15000 - 20000 per day, and you'll get more fit easily by that.
That's my own easy methods of staying healthy. I'll be glad if you have any ideas about that and have a discussion with me!

There are many kinds of sports that I enjoy, such as swimming, running, and dancing. However, the sport that I like most is basketball. When I was in junior high, I started to play basketball in school. At that time, I found I had loved deeply this sport. Now, I would like to watch basketball games as much as I can. The basketball games have given me the most wonderful time in my life.
3.春节
MySpringFestival
Last year’s Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.
On New Year’s Eve, my father and my un（转载自第一范文网talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six o’clock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.
On the first day of the New Year, we visited our relatives. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Jiefanf Road. My uncle bought some Jay’s CDs. He likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year.
On the second and the third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves.

An unforgetful trip
I went Chong Qing in July 22.It is a city which was built near mountains. So people call it Mountain City. In Chong Qing,I went to the Red Stone Center, to see the places which the prisoners lived in the past. It is a terrible and awful trip. There are a lot of dogs, and soldiers with guns near the prisons. And most of the prisons are good, they didn't want to tell the bad people where the other people were. They lived in very small houses. No good food to eat, no good water to drink.They had only twenty minutes to stay out side per day but they still said nothing. I think they are the heros in that century. I will follow their spirit.
