I decided to be a middle teacher after college. There are many reasons contribute to this decision.
Firstly, when I was a little/boy, I have been dreaming of being a teacher. It seemed so fascinate to me and I hope I can make my dream come true.
And, I like so much to be with middle school students. Most of the students at that age are full of youthful spirity and I am sure their passion would pass to me. I will retain all the zest of adolescence.
The most important reason is that our country needs plenty of teachers. So far, teaching is considered a tough and low-income job in China. However, if we have not enough teachers, our future will lack of excellent scientist, managers, businessmen, soldiers and even goood workers and farmers. How can our country to be strong and wealthy? My English and My Future
I started my journey with English when I was nine, a year latter than the normal age that one should come into contact with it. At the very first stage, I was not really into it just by repeatedly memorizing new words and fixed sentences. Until that day, my English world has been totally changed. It was the first day of my junior school. Feeling a bit excited and nervous, I was picked to spell the word ‘T-shirt’, the simplest word for a qualified student in the English class, but I failed. I could imagine the way people looked at me, making me feel really ashamed and frustrated. I suddenly realize the great disparity between me and other students. This is the day I shall never forget in my entire life and this is the day that I get to know something must be changed in my English learning. And I did try really hard to make it which turned out to be quite effectual reflected on my grades. Gradually I’m attracted by the original beauty of this language. I simply fell in love with the feeling of enjoyment and freedom. And this kind of love still remains right in my heart.
Learning a language is not an easy thing, sometimes actually can be really hard. There is still a long way to go. So I will keep on exploring my passion for it and treasure every moment. For me, mastering a foreign language is not only communicating fluently with others, but also tries to find the inner beauty of the language and enjoy the process of improving.
