The difference between high school and university
During my high school period, I was always looking forward to experiencing a new life in the university. I always felt tight and tense towards my high school life because there was a lot of homework for each subject everyday. The schedule was full at any time, and it's impossible to take a break especially in my 12th grade so I had no chance to do something I like. Now finally I can step out from my “old life”, and start enjoying my new life in the university. However, life in the university is not quite the same as I imagined. It is true that nowadays I am able to get a flexible schedule, but at the same time, it requires me to be self-disciplined. Most people say it is easy to be self-disciplined, however, I don’t really agree with them. In high school, the high school teachers will arrange your schedule; therefore, you did not have to worry about it. but now you have to arrange it by yourself, and this is not a piece of cake! If your personality is kind of sloppy, you will easily mess up your life in the university, which may lead you to be a loser at the end of your university life. I suggest that we should think about our “new life” seriously. There is no free lunch in this world! So I think this is the greatest difference between high school and university.
How to make Success
Today I read a book about success In the book different people have different views on success. Some sold that making a great deal of money means success. Others think that holding an important post in the government or company means success. Still others believe that having a high academic title at a famous university or a research institute means success.
In my opinions, success means brilliant achievement in our work. In other words, no matter what we do, making outstanding contributions to the development of our country and is success.
To achieve success, I think, first of all, we must have a clear long-term goal in our life. Besides, we also need have short term goals in different periods of life. As we know, it is these short term goals which make our long-term goal possible. Second, we should be both perseverant and hardworking. Whatever we do, there are always two possibilities: success or failure. We should never lose heart when we come across difficulties or when we are confronted with failure. Instead, we should learn from our experience, build up our confidence and work even harder and smarter towards our purpose. Third, we should follow the examples of those who are successful and learn from them. Finally, we should try to get along well with our classmates and colleagues. We should care for each other and help each other in our study, our work and our life, because team work is of great importance in the realization of our dream.
If we can follow these principles, we can get success and make a difference in our life.

明这个孩子，脾气有点倔强、上课总是不认真听讲就别提回答问题了。对于这个孩子我很是头疼。为了改变他这种状态，就算他不举手，我在课堂上也要时不时的提问他。于是我在课下对他说：“每节课，老师都会把简单的问题留给你来回答。如果，你没有认真听讲，我就会在第四节课把你留下来，给你单独的辅导。”（我抓住了他不想在放学后被留下的心里）这样他在上课的时候逐渐变得会听讲了。

岚这个小姑娘有点胖有点懒。测口算60道题，她有25道没有做。于是我就开始找她的原因所在，原来每次在家练口算时，都是不按老师要求去记录做题时间。这样她的做题速度就没法提高。为了帮她提高做题速度，我和家长进行了沟通，让家长在家带孩子练口算时，要严格控制时间。其次，征得家长的同意，利用早放学时间，带着她练口算。现在她已经从10多分钟做一页口算变成6分多钟做一页口算，而且她看到自己的进步也很高兴。我也感到欣慰。
