Saying or doing something without carefully considering may have bad effect in the long runs, which means your word may be misunderstood by others or you may eat your word some day. For example, do you remember the situation in the world cup final 2006? Zidan, the captain of French team, arguing with other players, head-butt a player of Italy so that he was showed red card and sent off immediately. It is pity for French, because of losing the leader in the football field. Finally, French team lost the opportunity of achieving final success.
Impulsion may be foolish and keep mouth shut is a kind of wisdom. And if we increase the time of shutting mouth, that is waiting, we will find something amazing happen beyond our prediction. Take returning products as a example, the seller always refused to return the money on the excuse of being busy. However, if we waited there, without hasten the seller, he or she would be uneasy in his or her heart and finally agreed with your request.
In conclusion, in every situation, what we really should do before taking actions is to think carefully, that whether the words would improve the situation or not. Sometimes, speech is silver, but silence is gold.
