今年(2013年)除夕到正月十五期间，北京雾霾天气出现的天数占到50%以上，严重影响了老百姓的生活和健康。请写一篇短文，描述一下北京雾霾的情况，分析雾霾出现的原因，并提出治理雾霾的措施。 注意：词数不少于100词。
During the 15 days from New Year’s Eve to Lantern Festival, Beijing was affected by smog for more than half the time, because of which people suffered a lot. On the road people drove slowly because they could not see clearly. People also suffered from many illnesses caused by smog.
The smog in Beijing has been caused by many factors, in which the increase of cars in the city area plays an important role. The cars send off a lot of poisonous gases, which in turn adds to the already serious air pollution.
In my opinion, the number of cars should be limited. We should call on the people to use more public transport. Only in this way can we expect to have more sunny days.

Thank you very much for your concern. Last months several places in Beijing were blanketed with thick yellow fog. Everything around disappeared from oursight. Some highways were closed. Traffic jams were commonly seen in the streets. Many people, especially children and seniors, even found it difficult to breathe. As a result, local hospitals were crowded with people who had problems with their noses and lungs. Part of the cause was the dry weather, but the severely damaged environment contributed a lot to this nightmare. Personally I didn’t get any health problems in the haze because I stayed mostly indoors.But to make a significant change we really have to do more to protect our environment. To live a better life we have to push on with the economy, but it wound be meaningless if we have to achieve it at the cost of our breathing air. Regards!

I’m also very worried about such terrible weather because it has brought much inconvenience or rather harm to people’s health such as traffic jam, road accidents, bad coughs, throat hurts and ever lung
cancers and so on.
As everybody knows, a good environment comes from good protection. So we should do what we can to make a difference. Try to drive less and choose air-friendly products. Only when everyone has the environmental awareness can we have cleaner air.

Haze is air pollution in which is mixed up with dust, smoke and other dry particles ,and it obscure the clarity of the sky and interacts with the natural environment.

One of effective solutions to help eliminate haze is to make some chemistry changes during the manufacturing process,so it could reduce harmful emissions which are produced by manufacturing operations

今天的天气真奇怪，早晨还是多云的天。到了下午6点钟左右，天边渐渐泛起一层薄薄的雾气，笼罩着远处的山头。
我还以为是夜色朦胧了天边。隔了五分钟，当我再次伏在窗边眺望远方时，意外地发现窗玻璃上多了一些颗粒状的小水珠，细细端详，每一颗小水珠里都包含着一团小小的黑色灰尘微粒，我好生奇怪。再放眼往远处看，高大的楼房仿佛系上了一条条轻柔的白纱，霓虹灯点缀的彩带也越发缥缈起来;停车场上过往的车子也开启了雾灯，射出的灯光如同一根根光柱，很耐看。天渐渐暗了下来，窗上的水珠越集越多，慢慢地，小水珠吮吸得越来越大。窗外的一切是那么的静谧美好，我不禁也被深深吸引了……正当我陶醉之时，一道闪电划过天空，伴随着雷电，大雨倾盆而下。雨水拍打着玻璃，尘土也被冲刷得干干净净。刚刚的雾蔼，也被吹得没有了影子。
咦，这不就是自然书上所说的雾霾现象吗?
我翻出家里一本厚厚的《十万个为什么》，哈，终于找到了——对，这就是雾霾!它是因为空气中悬浮着大量的烟、尘等微粒遇到水气而形成的混浊现象，使视线模糊并导致能见度下降。怪不得窗玻璃上有星星点点的微粒，原来是空气中的灰尘在作怪啊!
因为现在空气污染越严重，所以雾霾天气就越多，危害也就越大。有时会使汽车不能开，飞机不能降落。
