我的英语短文教学观

【摘要】英语短文教学是英语教学的主渠道，如何通过短文教学促进学生主体性发展通过课堂教学质量，是我们广大教师需要努力探究的问题。本文通过教学实践层面阐述了如何从强化学生入手，激发学生主体情感，精心设计短文课堂教学活动。

初中英语短文是整个教学单元结构安排中最为难处理的，因为短文是英语知识的综合运用能力的具体表现形式。在中考中，常见的完形填空，阅读理解，书面表达等均为考查英语短文的分析、运用能力。因此，英语教师如何处理好英语短文教学是十分重要的。
传统的英语短文教学的特征是“讲读式”它对于英语短文教学也有一定的作用。即可以使对语言知识掌握得较为扎实，利于学生对语法知识的记忆，尤其注重英语语言知识特别是语法知识的讲授和灌输。随着社会时代的发展，首先，课文知识背景发生了变化；教师知识结构发生变化；最后，但也是最重要的是教育的主体———学生，变化最快，可以说是社会流行什么，他们就知什么。我们传统的“讲读式”短文教学法显然已背离了英语教学的宗旨，不利于促进学生乐于开口说英语，也不利于学生生动、活泼、自主地全面发展。
《英语课程标准》（以下简称课标），体现面向全体学生，以学生为中心、尊重学生、服务学生之间的差异。考虑学生学习的需求，其核心就是把学生当作人全面地培养，不能把学生当作被动接受知识的机器。因此，英语短文教学应以《课标》的要求为目标，进行全面和深入的创新。就笔者而言，认为运用以下方式可正确引导学生了解短文、激发学生理解短文、帮助学生掌握和充分发挥灵活地运用语言。

In today’s world , almost everyone knows air pollution is harmful to people’s health. However, not all people know noise is also a kind of pollution and is harmful to hmans’ health.
People who work and live in noisy conditions go deaf easily. For example, many of the workers who print newspapers and books go deaf. Quite a few people living near airports also have hearing loss. Recently, it is reported that many teenagers in America can hear no better than 65-year-old people do, because these young people always listen to loud pop music. Making a loud noise in public is also a kind of pollution. It not only disturbs others but also does great harm to people’s hearing. Cars and machines also produce too much noise. Such pollution makes people feel uncomfortable and unpleasant, and it can even cause them to become sick or deaf.
Nowadays, many countries are trying to solve all sorts of environmental problems, including noise pollution.
一、借助多媒体视听结合。
现在，我们普遍教师往往一来就采用示范朗读的方法，多属于“走过场”现象。全
靠语言信息的输出和输入来帮助学生了解课文缺乏多样性和实效性。佐藤正夫说过“实物刺激可以引进教学过程的一切阶段”借助多媒体视听结合引导学生了解课文变单一的视听效应为刺激。针对上篇例文。英语教师可以利用Powerpoint设计多幅图像或Flash动画。

专心读书的同学厌听旁人的喧哗。
在这一过程中，教师重视学生参与，发挥认知主体作用，利用多媒体网络环境和多
媒体软件创设的图、文、声、像并茂。生动有趣的语言教学情境。调动学生的学习积极性、激发学生的参与欲望。如在上面这几组图像中，教师不一定让学生按图像顺序说话，可以随学生的能力水平和兴趣，能表达哪组均可。这样学生可以按照自己的学习基础，学习兴趣来选择适合自己水平的练习，改变传统课堂的局限性。可以对学生因材施教、个别辅导，使学生大面积、多层次地参与练习，充分发挥自己的学习优势。有效提高课堂教学效率。
二．精讲多练引导学生理解短文
在借助多媒体视听结合让学生了解短文内容的基础上。接下来教师应注意引导学生，因为学生为了能够积极参与学习活动，必然表现出积极和主动的学习状态。课堂气氛会一时显得“乱”起来。教师要注意“形散而神不散”，进而使课堂上的注意力长时间地保持稳定。
就本文所举例文而言，教师围绕涉及文章的“6W”，即Who(人物)、When(时间)、Where(地点)、What(事件)、Why(原因)、how(方式)等，作一下讲练{我的老师英语小短文}.
