单元总览
一、单元教学目标
1．能力目标
（1）能够简单介绍学校校舍的分布情况，如：This is the teacher's office．That is my classroom．
（2）能简单说出每个课室的不同功能，如：Go to the library．Read a story-book．
（3）能听懂并回答一些问题，如：Is this the library? Is that the TV room?
（4）会唱歌曲“Our School”。
2．知识目标
（1）掌握A、B部分Read and write的单词和句子并能做到会听、说、读、写。
（2）认读A、B部分Let's learn、Let's talk中的单词和句子。
（3）理解Let's do、Let's chant等部分的内容。
（4）了解Story time、Good to know等部分的内容。
3．情感、策略、文化等有关目标
（1）情感态度：能以得体的方式向客人介绍自己的学校。
（2）学习策略：注重合作学习，鼓励学生大胆想象，构思未来学校的蓝图。
（3）文化目标：了解在不同场合应该遵守的公共道德，培养学生对学校的热爱之情。
二、单元内容分析
1．本单元重点学习学校课室及功能室的名称、分布和不同的功能。重点学习的句型是：This is the teacher's office．That is my classroom．Is this the library? Is that the TV room? A、B部分的Let's talk 渗透了这几个新的句型，应作为本单元的教学难点。
2．学校是学生们每天学习与生活的地方，建议教师带领学生参观自己的学校，在真实的情景中学习或巩固单词与句型。
3．单元教学课时安排建议：六课时
第一课时：A Let's learn Let's do
第二课时：A Let's talk Let's play C Let's sing
第三课时：A Read and write B Let's chant C Good to know

第一课时
一、教学目标与要求
1．能够听、说、认读本课时的主要单词：teacher's office, canteen, garden, playground, library。
2．听懂指示语，并按要求做出相应的动作，如：Go to the garden．Water the flowers．
二、教学重、难点分析
1．本课时需要重点掌握有关学校设施的五个单词并了解它们的功能。
2．本课时的难点是library中辅音连缀的发音。
三、课前准备
1．教师准备一幅本单元的校园分布图。
2．教师准备本课时的五张单词卡。
3．教师准备录音机及录音带。
4．学生准备一张白纸和笔。
四、教学步骤
1．热身（Warm-up）
教师播放四年级上册学生用书第五页的歌谣“Work And Play”，让学生跟随录音说唱。
2．预习（Preview）
通过和学生一起回顾四年级上册学生用书第一单元句型：“What's in the classroom?
A board, two lights, many desks and chairs．”自然过度到学习学校各课室的名称。
3．新课呈现（Presentation）
Let's learn
（1）教师指着教室问学生：This is our new classroom．Do you like our classroom? What's in the classroom? 学生做出相应的回答。教师接着问：How many classrooms are there in our school? Do you like our school? What else can you see in the school? Look! This is a map of our school．接下来教师借助校园分布图教授生词。教师可在教学过程中引入句型“It's on the first floor．”，为下一课时进一步学习序数词做铺垫。
（2）通过教师领读和听音跟读，让学生掌握本课时五个生词的正确读音。在练习library的发音时，可复习已学过的含辅音连缀的单词，如：ice-cream, brother, friend, hungry。
（3）游戏
a．小组比赛。教师出示一张词卡，如garden，组内学生依次说出与该词有关的其它单词，如：flowers, red, colour, trees 等，这样既复习了学过的单词，也为继续学习Let's do 打下基础。
b．教师或学生做动作，让其他的学生猜并说出该单词。
Let's do
要求学生听指令，做出相应的动作。可以采取组与组竞赛的方式。评价包括动作是否准确、到位、优雅。
4．巩固和延伸（Consolidation and extension）
（1）做本单元 A Let's learn部分的活动手册配套练习。
（2）和同桌一起玩“画画、想想”的游戏。一名学生在纸上画一本书或一个碗，另一名学生说出library, canteen等相关生词。
（3）试一试给同伴、朋友或家长发Let's do中的指令。
第二课时
一、教学目标与要求
1．能听懂、会说：“This is the teacher's office．That is my classroom．”并能在实际情景中进行运用。
2．能跟唱歌曲“Our School”。
3．了解英美国家关于楼层的不同表达方式。
二、教学重、难点分析
1．本课时教学重点：让学生熟练掌握“This is .... / That is ....”的用法。
2．本课时教学难点：this和that的发音以及在楼层的表达中序数词first, second的用法是教学中的难点。教师要通过创设情景让学生理解和掌握。
三、课前准备
1．教师准备陈杰的头饰。
2．教师准备该课时的教学挂图。
3．教师准备录音机、录音带或VCD。
4．如有条件，学生可以准备金黄色假发套。
四、教学过程
1．热身（Warm-up）
（1）教师播放本课时A部分Let's do的录音带，学生听音做动作。
（2）教师慢慢出示canteen 等生词的图卡，让学生猜出该单词。
2．预习（Preview）
教师播放本单元歌曲“Our School”，先让学生听然后鼓励学生跟唱。
3．新课呈现（Presentation）
Let's talk
教师首先和学生进行自由交谈，主题是Why do you like our school? 鼓励学生用简单的句子做出回答，即使只能说出只言片语，教师也要给予表扬。顺着这一话题，教师说：Yes, our school is really very nice．Today some friends from America are coming to see our school．Chen Jie is showing them around our school．Let's watch．由此导入新课。
（1）看与听
学生看Let's talk部分的插图或VCD，教师可以就对话内容提一些问题，如：How many American friends are there? What do you do in the playground? 在提问与回答的过程中，将难点各个击破。
（2）模仿跟说，注意指导this和that中“th”的发音。
（3）first和second的操练可以在排列卡片、复习单词的过程中渗透，如：T: What's in the first / second picture? Ss: It's a library / a teacher's office．也可以让学生听指令排列卡片，如：T: The first card, playground; the second card, .... 然后引导学生仔细观察挂图，正确理解和运用短语on the first floor和on the second floor。
（4）分角色朗读与表演
建议教师首先与一些学习程度较好的学生进行示范性表演，以降低完全由学生自己表演的难度。表演时将本部分配套的学校挂图贴在黑板上作为提示。
Let's play
一学生手举图片背对其他学生面向黑板站立，另一学生依照图的提示做出动作，其余的学生猜测图上表示的是什么课室或学校场馆，用句型“That is a ....”作答。
4．巩固和延伸（Consolidation and extension）
（1）做本单元 A Let's talk 部分的活动手册配套练习。
（2）听Let's talk部分的录音，读给同伴、朋友或家长听。
（3）给爸爸妈妈介绍自己的学校。
第三课时
一、教学目标与要求
1．能够听、说、读、写单词：board, light, fan, computer。
2．能够理解并吟唱出歌谣的内容。
3．了解学校的有关规章制度用英文怎么说。
二、教学重、难点分析
1．本课时需要学生能准确理解图和对话的内容，并重点掌握上述四个单词以及两个重点句子：“This is my computer．That is your computer．”的正确书写。
2．针对本课时的难点，教师可以先引导学生看图自己填出四线格中的单词，再强调这几个单词以及一组句子在四线格中的正确书写。
三、课前准备
1．教师准备本课时相应的挂图。
2．教师准备一台录音机和录音带。
3．教师准备相应的动物头饰。
四、教学过程
1．热身（Warm-up）
（1）学生跟录音演唱C部分的歌曲“Our School”。
（2）请一组学生表演A部分Let's talk的对话，复习所学的新句型。
2．预习（Preview）
（1）引导学生复习四年级上册学生用书第一单元A部分的Let's learn，巩固学习六个单词并请学生用该部分的句型：What's in the classroom? A board.... 来介绍自己的教室。
（2）播放四年级上册学生用书第一单元A部分Let's do的录音带，引导学生听听、做做。
3．新课呈现（Presentation）
Let's chant
播放B部分的歌谣, 引导学生将学校场馆library, art room, canteen, gym和动词read, draw, eat, play对应起来认读。
Read and write
（1）在跟唱Let's chant 之后，教师对歌谣中的内容进行提问：“Where do you read?
