一、教学内容分析

本单元的话题是subjects,给学生提供了贴近生活与学习的话题。单词write, story,best, about, And you? What about..?在日常英语教学及Sound family中,老师常对学生说的,学生对这些单词已经能听、说了。而且学生在本单元前已掌握了大部分的学科单词,及本单元另一句型How many„?及其回答和I like to„.也是在之前感知、学习过,这对本节课的学习也有一定的帮助。但本节课的句子What is your favourite subject? My favourite subject is„„. 的学习有很大的帮助,但这个句型比较长,学生读起来比较难。而且部分单词,如subject ,everything, favourite的发音比较难,而且这个单元还有一系列的动词短语,如use numbers, draw pictures等,需要学生掌握。这需要老师的不断准确示范,学生不断操练。

二、学生情况分析

学生大部来自农村,学生学习英语的氛围不够浓厚。但是四年级的孩子对英语的正规学习已有一年多了,大部分学生仍然好奇心强,爱好浓厚,活泼开朗,乐于表演,但是注重力轻易分散,自控能力较差,在学习过程中会出现乱场的现象。针对这种特性,老师要科学地设计教学的每一个环节,充分利用评价手段和各种教学资源来抓住学生的心。

第一课时教学设计

一、教学目标

(一)语言知识目标

1.“三会”、“四会”掌握单词:subject, favourite, best, write, story, about, What about„? And you? everything, learn,science, moral lesson.

2.初步感知动词短语:write stories, read English books, use numbers, draw pictures.

3.初步感知并操练重点句: How many subjects do you have? We have seven

subjects. What’s your favourite subject? My favourite subject is

English. I like to read English books.

4.正确理解并流利朗读课文对话。

(二)语言技能目标

1.能听、说、读新单词。

2.能在情景中用句型谈论自己最喜欢的学科及原因。

3.能正确理解并流利朗读课文对话。

(三)学习策略目标

1.能在情景中积极运用所学英语进行表达与交流。

2.积极参与小组活动,主动练习、实践所学内容。

(四)情感态度目标:

通过句型互相了解大家对各学科的喜好,并教育学生要各学科全面发展,不要因为自己的喜好而偏科。

(五)文化意识目标

了解如何用英语询问他人最喜欢什么学科及如何回答。

二、教学重、难点

1.重点:掌握本节课的单词和句型,及正确理解并流利朗读课文对话。

2.难点 :

①单词favourite, subject, science, everything的准确发音。

②动词短语write stories, read English books, use numbers, draw pictures的初步感知与识记。

三、教具准备

幻灯片、单词卡等。

四、教学策略

运用Phonics教学新单词,从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,采取温故知新、循序渐进、化难为易,以趣导学、合作参与的学习方式。鼓励学生运用所学单词、句型参与合作交流;以激励性评价促进有效学习,培养学生听、说、读的能力。

五、教学过程

Step 1 Warm up

1.Greeting,了解学生并回顾日常用语What about„? And you?

2. Chant,引导学生回顾: Chinese, maths, English, art, music, PE, computer,并学习单词subject.

Step 2 Presentation and Practice{i,like,english,进一步学习}.

1.学习句型How many subjects do you have?-- We have nine subjects.

(1)引导学习单词science, moral lesson及句型。

(2)操练。

2. 学习句型What is your favoutite subject? My favourite subject is English.

(1)引导学习单词favourite及句型。

(2)操练。

3. 学习句子I like English best. 和单词best, write, story,并初步感知动词短语write stories, read English books, use numbers, draw pictures,以及句子I like to read English books.

(1) 引导学习单词best及句型。

(2) 操练。

4. 整体操练。

5.Learn the dialogue.

(1)出示课题。

(2)学习剩余的单词everything, learn及课文对话。

Well, I think the English to English dictionary has been playing an important role in our English study. Mostly, the meaning of a word can not be accurately reflected just by it’s explanations in Chinese.

Take me for example, I learned a new word ‘rough’ in my bets2 class, I knew its Chinese meaning is ‘rude’, but one day when I read a sentence ‘the sea was rough” in a book, I didn’t understand it completely. I looked it up in a dictionary; finally I knew it means ‘the sea up and down the ship’.

Compare to those Chinese to English dictionary, I prefer the E to E dictionary.

The most important reason why I like to learn English is that I am really interested in learning English, I believe. As the old saying goes, "Interest is the best teacher in learning things." In my childhood, English songs became my best partner. With the beautiful and smoothing music I could sleep sound every night. Also English movies were my favorite shows when I was young because my mother used to be an English teacher and she always watched the cartoons together with me. From then on, I was quite attracted by the beautiful language and decided to learn it well.
