本级教材共有两个模块组成，每个模块都包含有五个单元，每个单元一般都有warming up, pre-reading, reading, comprehending, learning about language, using language, summing up and assessment, 以及workbook等几个部分。教师在使用本教材时，应注意根据学生的实际情况，对教材进行增、删、改以及重组教材。
二、学生分析（双基智能水平、学习态度、方法、纪律）
学生的英语水平差异，一些学生学习方法不怎么好，因此学习积极性不很高，学习态度有待提高，有些学生学得不错。
三、教学目的要求
培养学生的语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识，发展学生综合运用语言的能力
四、完成教学任务和提高教学质量的具体措施
1、组织本备课组全体英语教师隔周集体备课一次，讨论单元重难点、练习、测试等教学问题。
2、互相听课，做到取长补短，共同提高。
3、拓宽教材，不断扩大学生阅读量，增加学生的词汇量。利用课外阅读材料和自选阅读材料（包括限时阅读和《新概念英语》等），不断培养学生的阅读能力，扩大学生词汇量，为适应高考而做准备。
4、加强听力训练，不断提高学生听力能力。
