[背景和学情]:

1、一般现在时是学习一般过去时的基础,在牛津初中英语7A中,学生刚刚学过一般现在时,印象深刻,偶尔也会见到一般过去时的句型,因而已有足够的知识准备。而一般过去时又是学习现在完成时,过去进行时和过去完成时的基础,因此一般过去时,在初中阶段就显得尤为重要,在常见的几种时态和语态中起着桥梁和纽带的作用。而不规则动词的过去式变化是一个难点。

2、七年级学生性格活泼,对新鲜事物特别敏感,容易接受新鲜事物,爱好想象和表演。因此在教学过程中,老师应注意创设情境,情境应生动活泼且贴近学生的生活,并鼓励学生积极参与情境表演。充分利用容易引起学生对教学内容产生无意注意的因素,使学生在课上比较轻松地集中注意听讲,从而激发学生的兴趣,调动学生的主动性和积极性。

牛津版初中英语7B的第四和第五单元主要介绍过去时,短短两篇文章涵盖了许多动词的过去式变化规则。但在里面既有动词过去形式的规则变化,还有不规则变化,还有动词过去式中“ed”的不同发音规则。如此复杂的内容涵盖在两篇文章中,怎一个难字了得?翻开相应的配套练习,关于动词过去形式的单项练习并不充足。更可怕的是,过去时被大量地运用于现在的试卷里面,同时很

多学生在课外阅读中也时不时遇到包含过去时的句子。看来动词过去式的规则变化并不是难点,难点是大量的动词过去式不规则变化。

如果按照课文中的出现的动词讲解,显然既不能满足学生阅读英语小短文的需要,更不能满足学生日常对话的需要。让学生死记硬背不规则动词表,然后直接做大量练习?显然这种手法过于呆板,激发不起学生兴趣,也不利于语言点的灵活运用;反而早早加重了初一学生对试题的厌恶感。那么,怎样做才能不仅激发学生兴趣,又可以练习到为数不少的不规则动词呢?经过一番思考,我决定先从日常问答和讲故事入手,从口头上帮助学生熟悉不规则动词的过去式变化,再将说的技能逐步转化成写的技能。这样不但可以使过去时的学习有一定的梯度,同时也使知识难点得以分散,而且还可以利用学生求新求异的心理特点在不知不觉中熟悉并掌握不规则动词的过去式变化。因此,在本节课中,我利用前15分钟的时间带领学生感知、体验时态,进行师生互动,通过师生问答的形式轻轻松松掌握了10-15个不规则动词的过去式。在做了充分的练习后,才放手让学生自己去表达和展示。通过讲故事说梦境的方式来操练不规则动词的过去式,首先是激发了学生的兴趣,让学生的学习行为变被动为主动,这样学生更容易接受从而也更容易记牢学过的知识点;其次为学生创造了锻炼英语表达能力的机会,提高了学生说的能力;另外,说梦境给予了学生很大的自我发挥的空间,有利于锻炼其发散性思维,这对发展学生的创造想象能力和创造性思维能力显得尤其重要。

而英语教学的目的不仅仅是为了应付考试,更重要的是,英语作为一门语言,是一种交流的工具。因此日常的教学活动首先应该唤起学生说英语的兴趣,而后才能将之应用于写作中去。如果教师弃学生兴趣于不顾,一味地追求分数最优化,结果将可能扼杀了孩子的学习兴趣,使之早早地产生了厌学心理,而不利于他们日后英语能力的发展。

英语作为一门交际性很强的学科,教学的效果主要取决于教学对象的积极参与。而且,教师要在尽可能培养学生参与和探索精神的基础上,勤于分散教学难点,尽量减少学习障碍,为学生更好地掌握某种语言现象铺平道路。这样学生才能在学习的道路上走得更有信心,并且走得更远!
